File Types

Specify file types to index, other types of file will be ignored. You can only use comma "," to separate the types:

        "Html type": Specify HTML file types to index, other types of HTML files will be ignored. You must use a comma "," to separate the types (e.g. htm,html,shtm,shtml,asp,php,php3). The program will ignore the tags and scripts of these file types when indexing. It supports indexing "htm, html, shtm, shtml, asp, aspx, php, php2, php3, stm, cfm, cfml, xhtml, phtml, xml, htt, htx, pvx, jsp" files etc.

        "Text type": Specify text file types to index, other types of text files will be ignored. You must use a comma "," to separate the types (e.g. txt,rtf,pdf,doc,c,cpp). The program will index the entire text of these file types when indexing. It supports indexing ".doc, .pdf, .xls, .ppt, .rtf, .txt, .c, .cpp, .h" files etc.

        "Multimedia": Specify multimedia file types to index, other types of text files will be ignored. You must use a comma "," to separate the types (e.g. mp3,rm,wmv,midi,gif,jpg). The program will index the file name of these file types when indexing. It supports indexing ".mp3, .rm, .wmv, .midi, .gif, .jpg" files etc.
