WinGUI
If the SSForge is installed on Windows system, the package will include a file
named "wingui.exe". If you can operate directly the host which SSForge is
installed on or login that host through Internet/Intranet and can see and
operate it's screen, then you can use this tool to manage SSForge server and do
other work in graphical mode.
Run the file "wingui.exe", you will see a tray icon on the tools bar
in right-bottom of Windows screen. Left or right click this icon, it will pop up
a menu. Following are the usage of the menu items.
1. SSForge Service:
a. Install SSForge Service:
Install SSForge service to
Windows system if not, click this menu, the service will be installed. And you can see
"SSForge Service" in the "Service" control panel after installed. Just open
"Start Menu" => "Control Panel" => "Administrative Tools" => "Service", in the opened program Window, you will see "SSForge Service" in
the services list.
b. Uninstall SSForge Service:
Uninstall SSForge service
from Windows system, click this menu, the service will be uninstalled. You will
see the "SSForge Service" is removed from the services list in the "Control
Panel" (If not, maybe you need to refresh it).
c. Start SSForge Service:
Click this menu to start the
SSForge Service if not. Make sure the service is installed before start. Only after the
service is started, the SSForge and SSHM users and the visitors of all the site
search engines can do their work with SSForge.
d. Stop SSForge Service:
Click this menu to stop the SSForge Service.
If you want to restart SSForge, you can also click this to stop, then click
"Start SSForge Service" to restart it.
e. Install and Start SSForge service:
Click this menu to install and
start the SSForge Service. This act as you click "Install SSForge Service", then
click "Start SSForge Service".
f. Stop and Uninstall SSForge service:
Click this menu to stop and
uninstall the SSForge Service. This act as you click "Stop SSForge Service",
then click "Uninstall SSForge Service".
2. Run SSForge:
This will open the SSForge page, it requires a site search account to login. If
you haven't site search account yet, please contact the host manager to create

3. Run SSHM:
This will open the SSHM page, it requires user name and password to login. The
user name is "root", and initialize password is "admin". Please change the
