SSForge (Site Search Forge) is a web-based program to meet all your site search needs. If you have a website, you may want to put a site search box on it to enable your website visitors to search your website or files to find things easily. With SSForge, you can create, manage and run your own site search engines on your website host with two easy to use web interface. How to create a site search account? After install and start SSForge, login SSHM "http://127.0.0.1:9280/sshm" (the IP may different for you) with user name "root" and initialize password "admin" (you can change this password after login); Then click "Create New Account" on the left menu, input an account name and password to create a site search account. Then login SSForge "http://127.0.0.1:9280/ssforge" with the account name and password you created above. Now you can start indexing to create your own site search engine. How to create a site search engine? Create a site search account as above if not, then login SSForge with the account name and password. Then click "Index Files" menu under "Index Settings", then input a website or folder to the "Target Files" box and press "Save". At last, click "Start Indexing" menu under "Index", then press "Start" button, it will start indexing. The search engine will be created after indexing is finished. Ordering Questions Is your online order form secure? Yes, it is secure. Many people select online payment option. Also you can use PayPal that will not give your credit card info to others and offline payment option such as pay by phone,fax or mail etc. Is the price a one time cost or are there other fees? The price is a one time cost only. There are no monthly or yearly charges whatsoever. Technical Questions When index website and when folder? Input Website as "Target Files": If the target files you want to index and search are not on the same host which SSForge is running on, you can only input website as "Target Files" to start index. Index Folder as "Target Files": If the target files you want to index and search are on the same host which SSForge is running on, you can input website or folder as "Target Files" to start index. If input folder to index, the SSForge will index very fast because no need to connect to Internet to get data. |
